The second annual Pedal to Peace bike event, held September 22 on the Katy Trail, was a huge success! Riders supported the movement to end domestic violence and proceeds fund ALIVE’s programs empowering domestic abuse survivors and their children to build safe, healthy, hopeful futures. Riders enjoyed a gorgeous ride on Missouri’s most scenic bike trail, lunch at Augusta Brewery, t-shirts, swag bags, contests, raffles, and an inspiring day of community support. Special thanks to our riders, donors, sponsors, and volunteers for making this growing event possible.
Did you miss it? Be sure to join us in 2019!
ALIVE held its 2018 Wine Tasting and Auction on Thursday, June 28 at the Edward Jones Atrium in Des Peres. This successful, fun, and supportive event raised over $37K for ALIVE’s programs providing emergency shelter, counseling, court advocacy, and other critical services to area domestic survivors and their children. Thanks to our guests, sponsors, donors, wine/beer vendors, volunteers, and our amazing venue and caterer, Aramark, for the perfect ingredients for a wonderful evening of community support. Special thanks to our mission speaker, Megan Green, and emcee, Brian Goldman, as well as artist Allora McCullough, creator of the Be Awestruck art activism exhibit, and the cast/crew of The Drowning Girls, a live theatre experience benefitting ALIVE.
Thanks to all who attended and supported this event. Check our our photo gallery, below, and thank you for making a difference!
ALIVE's mission is to provide counseling, emergency sanctuary and other critical services to adults and children impacted by domestic abuse, as well as to increase awareness in order to create a supportive community.
